Dakota is a fundraising firm that raises capital for investment managers and is responsible for creating and updating a database of prospects used by hundreds of investment firms.
Dakota wanted to increase Dakota Live’s conversion, their new sales event. They also wanted to refine the information they show to communicate the value proposition clearly.
We started by analyzing their website to find friction points in their sales funnels from users’ and sales team perspectives. Dakota’s main issues were long body texts, confusing CTAs buttons, and inconsistency through several visual components.
To enhance the user’s experience, we built wireframes to improve site navigability and usability. We also defined a brand new Art Direction to make the website look sleeker and modern, based on a co-created branding workshop.
Re-design a pre-existing platform and create a super friendly product to convert new users and attract power users.
To make sure we were creating the right experience for customers, we ran a usability test with current and potential users. We found that the new wireframes had greatly improved the usability and general experience of the site.
